The People’s Launch
On Saturday 15th July People Power Passion launched Luton’s 2019 celebration of the centenary of the unique event known as the Luton Peace Day Riots, where the people of Luton rose up in protest against the way they were being treated after returning from the horrors of fighting in France during WW1.
Saturday’s event was the first of six events planned by People Power Passion over the coming 5 months to recognise this amazing event – for more details see Luton Peace Riots 1919.
